September 19, 2010, Noon to 1PM: Our
Mountain Folk Duo of "East Side' Dave Kline and
Bob Entler will be performing a one hour concert
of acoustic outdoor and critter music as a part
of a day of music on several performances
stages at the annual Woofstock Music Festival to
benefit the humane treatment of dogs of all
breeds on the shore of the Susquehanna River at
Harrisburg, Pa. There will be many
exhibits, vendors, food and you're welcome to
bring your own dog(s) and join the fun.

October 3, 2010, Noon to 4:30PM: Dave
will be performing with the Toad Creek Ramblers
old-time music band at the annual Berks County
Heritage Festival at the
Berks County Heritage Center/Gruber Wagon Works
off of Route 183 near Reading, PA.
Monday,
October 4, 2010, Time to be announced:
Dave will perform his annual one-hour,
early-evening, acoustic critter music concert as
the opening portion of this year's Blessing of
the Animals at
Alvernia
University in the gorgeous grotto. The
public and all pets; dogs, cats, horses,
whatever, are invited to come for free and enjoy
the concert and then have yourself and your
animals blest during the very peaceful ceremony
honoring St. Francis
and his and your compassion for animals.

performs as a part of the Toad Creek Duo; old
time music at the historic
Landis Valley Farm Museum as a part of their
annual harvest festival.

Mountain Folk Band performs a live bluegrass
concert at 'A
Night of Bluegrass' at the
Seisholtzville Fire Company with another
bluegrass band, the Lykens Valley Bluegrass
Band. There is an admission fee. Call

Mountain Folk Band performs live for the
Schuylkill County Conservancy at the Sweet Arrow
Lake County Park, 98 Clubhouse Road, Pine Grove,

This show is open to the public and we will also
be teaching interested people how to do
traditional hoedown dancing.

October 29, 2010, 6 to 11PM: Our
first-ever Mountain Folk Hills of Home are
Haunted escorted deluxe bus tours of some of the
most haunted places in the mountains north of
our Mountain Folk homeplace. The tour will
include visits to Hawk Mountain and the infamous
haunted tavern and cemetery on the mountain's
slopes, a haunted bed & breakfast with actual
live testimonial form the proprietor, a visit to
the famous Blue Rocks glacial deposit where it
is said that the haunted dragon patrols, a stop
at Witch's Hill where the covens used to gather
in the old days. The tour will begin and
end at the Leesport Farmers Market and will be
hosted by Mountain Folk's 'East Side' Dave Kline
and noted ghost story author and researcher
Charles J. Adams III. Tickets are limited
and are on sale now. Tickets are just

annual show of holiday music from the mountains

Gring's Mill Holiday Festival of Lights.
